Nightbirde Dropped Out Of America's Got Talent, Simon Cowell Said She's "Already Won" (Video)

The most memorable moment of America's Got Talent (AGT) Season 16 Wednesday was the surprise appearance of Nightbirde or Jane Marczewski.

The 30-year-old singer, songwriter, and three-time cancer survivor was supposed to advance to this year AGT after earning Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer

Her song and performance in her audition blew the world away, and it has been viewed more than 200 million times!

Her famous quote, "It’s important that everyone knows I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me.”

Nightbirde revealed she has only a 2% chance of survival, “but 2% is not 0%. 2% is something, and I wish people knew how amazing it is.”

Nightbirde announced this week that she would be dropping out of AGT as her health had "taken a turn for the worse".

When asked by Terry Crews, the AGT host, about how big of an impact her audition was, she replied, " there's no way I would have imagined that."

Nightbirde also said it was a song she wrote for herself when she needed it so badly in the middle of the night. It's beautiful to see the world welcome that song into their own dark night.

Howie Mandel said that she is the poster human for courage in the face of adversity, poise, beauty, and fight, and the world needs it right now in times of adversity.

Simon was emotional during the session. Since the AGT audition, he had spoken to Nightbirde a few times, and he knew her decision to leave was the best because her health has deteriorated.

Nightbirde felt that she had let people down, said Simon.

But Simon wanted her to know she hadn't let anyone down by dropping out of the competition.

"Even though you haven't competed, you have already won," added Simon. "Your video had such an impact on so many people."

He stressed again that the most important now is her health and recovery.

The entire experience had restored her faith in humanity to see people come together, said Nightbirde.

'We all hurt, we all suffer, and we all have the potential to overcome."

"This is the most beautiful thing that has happened to me in my entire life," Nightbirde added.

We here at WADD.asia wish Nightbirde a speedy recovery, and may she continue to share with us her beautiful voice and songs. Stay safe, everyone.
