Malaysia: School Uniforms Are Not Mandatory For Now

When the school reopens in stages starting from 1 March 2021, school uniforms are not mandatory for those that do not have school uniform yet.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) announced in a statement today via their website. However, the waiver expired on March 25 during the first term holiday,

The students must be dressed appropriately, so check with your school teacher on casual dressing rules.

MOE hopes that the green light will ensure that students come to school for face-to-face learning in response to their parents' inquiries.
