Malaysia: Burning Man Suffers 80 Per Cent Burns After Car On Fire (Video)

A man from Bintong, Perlis, suffered an 80 per cent burn after his Perodua Alza caught on fire yesterday evening.

A viral video of the burning man walking away from his burning car circulated all over social media. 

The tragedy took place at Jalan Baru, Kampung Syed Omar, Bintong at 8.45pm.

The Kangar Fire and Rescue Department's operations commander Shahrunnizam Kamar Bashah said ten firefighters and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call around 8.49 pm. 

The fire was put out at 9.20 pm. 

The burned victim was rushed to Tuanku Fauziah Hospital for further treatment.
