Malaysia To Fully Reopen Borders On March 1

The National Recovery Council (NRC) has agreed to fully open the country's border as early as March 1 without requiring travellers to undergo compulsory quarantine, said Muhyiddin Yassin, NRC chairman.

However, the travellers need to undergo the Covid-19 test before departing to Malaysia and upon arrival.

Muhyiddin announced this today at a press conference.

This announcement comes amidst the rising case of the Omicron variant wave in Malaysia.

More to come.
