Malaysia: 3 States To Enter Phase 3 Of National Recovery Plan Including Sarawak

Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin, has announced three states will move to Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), which includes Sarawak, Perlis and Labuan, effectively Wednesday, August 4. 

"We must be optimistic and continue to move forward so that the country's recovery can be carried out more systematically and safely," Muhyiddin added.

With Phase 3 of the NRP, all businesses are allowed to operate at 100%, except for F&B sectors.

Social gatherings are also allowed with not more than 50% of the premise capacity or a maximum of 200 people only.

Tourism and cultural activities are also allowed with not more than 50% of the premise capacity or a maximum of 200 people.

Muhyiddin also reminds Malaysians to continue to follow and adhere to the standard operating procedure (SOP).
