Handsome Tibetan Man Land Job After Going Viral

A Khampa Tibetan farmer, Ding Zhen, went viral after appearing in a photo series called "Smile on the Highest Altitude". Now, he has become the icon of Sichuan and Tibet.  

Tenzin, whose name in Chinese is Ding Zhen's pure smile and his handsome face moved many of netizens and racked up at least two millions of follower in social media within days. His name as a hashtag has at least six hundred million views in Weibo.

Zhen was offered a job from a local Chinese owned company which will help with his studies and training, especially for his mandarin and video editing. He will be working as a travel commentator at the Tsangyang Gyatso Mini Museum. 

 

Zhen currently lives in the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the west of China’s Sichuan province. The prefecture has approximately 1.2 million population, with nearly 82% is Tibetans.

He said in his interview with the South China Morning Post that he wants to be a horse racing champion and raise more horses.
