The video was taken by Alec Dunn while driving his boat on a river in Bloomfield. While checking out on his crab pots along the river, Alec Dunn noticed a crocodile swimming beside his small boat. The crocodile swims majestically like a dolphin, streaming calmly under the water and occasionally popped its head to the surface.
But what was amazing is the speed of the crocodile. It is clear that the boat is speeding and yet the crocodile seems able to follow up. According to 7NEWS, crocodile hunter Mick Pitman claimed a speeding crocodile is normal. Once, a crocodile managed to keep up with him while travelling around 10 knots (18.52km/h) on the water. Imagine swimming and trying to outrun a crocodile, good luck then.
As for the Twitter post, it got some mixed comments from netizens. One was expressing how beautiful and terrifying the crocodile is. Another commenter was asking where is the location of the video so she won’t come to that river.
You have seen the speed of the crocodile, so don’t ever think about having a swimming competition with it. Be on alert when you visit the river known to have this reptilian. STAY SAFE AND BEWARE OF CROCODILES!!!
