R.A.I.S.E Sarawak Concluded Their 2021 Series In High Spirits

R.A.I.S.E. Sarawak concluded 2021 with their final workshop, R.A.I.S.E. Virtual Workshop: 10 Questions Every Entrepreneur Must Ask. Lead coach, Karthik Siva, started the workshop by asking the participants, “does your business matter?” Throughout the workshop, he explained the significance of every question and hoped it would give needed insights.

“Just like a G.P.S. has become so important for vehicles, strategy is just as important if you are running or leading a business” - Karthik Siva, Chairman of Global Entrepreneur Xchange.

Since September, the monthly R.A.I.S.E. Virtual Workshops have “raised” more than 250 participants, consisting of entrepreneurs and university students, local and abroad.

In 2022, R.A.I.S.E. Sarawak is determined to make a greater impact on Sarawakian entrepreneurs, professionals and students through a collaboration between Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (T.E.G.A.S.) and iCube Innovation (I.C.U.B.E.) with Global Entrepreneur Xchange (G.E.X.).

The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) exchange was witnessed by Chief Minister, The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari, during the launching of T.E.G.A.S. Digital Village on November 22.

The collaboration aims to help Sarawakian entrepreneurs to get their business future-ready and transform their mindset to be globally focused and innovation-driven thinking.

This collaboration will empower entrepreneurs, professionals and at least 5,000 students in Sarawak with innovative, strategic, leadership and digital adoption skills and startup fundamentals.

Some exciting lineups for 2022 are R.A.I.S.E. Conclave: Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze, Innovation Masterclass, and Digital Adoption Workshop. Entrepreneur Clinics are lined up focusing on Startup, Funding, Branding, Selling and Communication, Leadership and Talent Management.
