WhatAapp Update Will Force You To Agree To New Privacy Rules Or Lose Access

Whatsapp is set to update their Terms of Service on 8 February 2021, forcing their users to agree to their new privacy rules else lose access to the app according to the beta user tester.

Screenshots of the “Terms and Privacy Policy Updates” were shared by WaBetaInfo, who said the new terms relate to how the world’s most popular messaging app processes user data.

“By tapping Agree, you accept the new terms, which take effect on February 8, 2021. After this date, you’ll need to accept the new terms to continue using WhatsApp, or you can always delete your account." - Wabetainfo.com

The policy basically outlines how WhatsApp processes your data and how businesses can use Facebook hosting services to store and manage their WhatsApp Chat.

According to the blog dated back in October 2020, Whatsapp will continue to expand their feature including Shopping - for a potential client to check out available products and to make purchases right from a chat.

Another feature is going to set in place is Facebook Hosting Services for businesses to manage their WhatsApp messages via hosting services that Facebook plans to offer.

Whatsapp will charge business owners for business sales in the future.
